Current wants/needs
Here's what I want/actually need t at the moment.
Aqui está o que eu quero/preciso de momento.
From my bucket list you have a pair of Alexander Mcqueen boots (in black), Christian Louboutin shoes and (sigh) a Chanel Bag.
On the 'to get' part is a simple, elegant ring, a black dress, knee high boots, a nude lip product (look at that Burberry packaging!) and a black blazer.
I also decided to add a Chanel nail polish (the one above is in Black Satin).
Update: I'm going to New York this weekend. I'll upload a haul when I come back! :)

Opening the latest addition to my closet!
I've been trying to get these babies ever since the trend started, and it was being impossible. They were literally sold out worldwide, and I couldn't get a hold of them no matter how hard I tried.
It's weird though, because you either love them or hate them and I know a lot of people find them horrible. In my opinion, they're a confortable way to pull a city look together, and they're an amazing addition to everyone's collection.
I purchased them a week ago, as soon as they arrived at net-a-porter's website and I managed to get them before they sold out (again, in less than an hour).
Here are the photos of the packaging and how they arrived!

This week, from net-a-porter.
I decided to start this new 'section' of my blog in which I'll post from net-a-porter every week, mentioning what caught my eye.
This way I can keep up with the new trends and share more of my personal style with all of you.
Let's get started with this previous week.
Ps: You can still get these in white/blue in US' net-a-porter
I'd put a black blazer over it and some high black pumps for a killer confidence.

Let's get started with this previous week.
Leather wedge knee boots from Givenchy
I wouldn't use these the way net-a-porter paired them, but I can understand what they went for. However, I see them as a classic way to sophisticate a daily look, and I'd pair them with a great pair of jeans and a nice shirt or sweater.
The Bekket leather and suede sneakers from Isabel Marant
I managed to get my hands on these before they sold out, and I can't wait for their arrival. Isabel Marant's sneakers quickly became a must and they're a fashion statement world wide.Ps: You can still get these in white/blue in US' net-a-porter
Leather and lace dress from Mason by Michelle Mason
I'm a dress lover, but I don't own many. This sophisticated piece makes me want to go out to a nice restaurant and enjoy a great meal, looking beautifully put together.I'd put a black blazer over it and some high black pumps for a killer confidence.
Coated cotton-jacket from Burberry London
Dark jackets will always be, in my opinion, the best pieces of clothing we can buy. We can use them everyday, they're confortable and they can last a lifetime if they're made with quality fabric and, mostly, if you take good care of them.
I'd use this one with ankle black booties and white jeans (or even with the Isabel Marant sneakers).
Ambleside textured-leather biker jacket from Belstaff
You can pair this with almost everything, for a chic, sophisticated look or a confortable, weekend outfit. I suggest the way they pared it, shown above with Mason by Michelle Mason skirt.
Plissé-chiffon maxi skirt from Chloé
This skirt is perfection. I can't get over how angelic it looks, just soft and light. I'd pair it with a white shirt tucked underneath and a nice pair of wedge sandals, or even glam it up with jewelry and black pumps.
Silk-georgette maxi dress from Chloé
Not a LBD (little black dress) but a gorgeous one. Once again, Chloé went for a light fabric, easy to use and look good in. I'd go for the wedges, once again, but you can also pair it with flats for a more daily look or with classic heels, and don't forget to use a nice bracelet to pull the look together.
Doesn't it remind you of cool Summer nights?
Angeliqua bead-embellished silk-blend satin underwired bra by Agent Provocateur
Let's talk about intimates. Whether you want to surprise your husband or just feel sexy, this bra is the perfect option. I believe everyone should have at least one pair of underwear that makes them feel good and confident, as it's proved it can improve your self-esteem.
Agent Provocateur didn't disappoint (as usual), and this is a great investment for your future life.
It's also black, the color that suits everyone and makes everything look mysterious and appealing, with a delicious darkness.
To wrap it up, I'll leave you with two more items, a blazer from Alexander Mcqueen (also known in my life as God) and Mason by Michelle Mason.
Thank you, and have a great weekend.

Fashion on a budget
As some of you may know, I'm going to New York in less than a month to celebrate New Year's Eve and because of Christmas (and my Burberry/Isabel Marant purchases) I have to cut down on the budget.
That isn't, however, something negative. I love using cheaper stores like Forever 21 to buy those fashionable items that might go out of fashion extremely quickly or that you might just not use very often.
They also make great Christmas gifts if you're sure about the girl's style.

Here's what caught my eye:
Metallic Sweater in cream/gold (can you tell I'm addicted to comfortable clothes?)
That's all on my list so far. If something else comes up I'll make sure to add it in some post before I leave, along with my beauty 'to get' list.
Stay fashionable, on a budget.

New Year's Eve Plans!
Have you peaked yet? If so, you might have realized I'm spending 2012/2013 New Year's Eve in NYC! I was there this past Summer but there's nothing like spending part of your Winter.
It has always been on my mom's bucket list, going there and just live all the excitement of the ball drop. I'm looking forward to it and as a fashion blogger the first thing I did as soon as I found out about these (amazing!) news was dive into net-a-porter and droll.
These are some of the things that caught my eye and that I'd love to have. The Ladurée macaroons, also known as the best macaroons worldwide, are a must, and the only thin I want even more than that is iceskating in the Rockefeller Center. It'll be a dream come true.
I'm gonna stop ranting about this amazing city and let you take a look down and see what made me die and go to the fashion-heaven. Oh, and sorry for the black takeover on the set. It's just that nothing can go wrong with classic black items.
